Building and renovation technology

Most Greenland housing was built within the last 40 years and is based on Danish/Nordic building techniques adapted to Arctic conditions. Research needs to be done into the feasibility of producing a greater proportion of the building materials in Greenland. Another subject worthy of study is how the housing/town of the future ought to look in Greenland. What requirements will housing have to meet? What form should new urban settlements take? Does technology live up to these visions?
